League of Legends’ next champion is Naafiri, Riot reveals her abilities

League of Legends’ The next champion, an ancient warrior was imprisoned as a blade and is now liberated by the pack of wolves. Naafiri is an assassin champion with an unusual premise — she is a gestalt intelligence spread across the wolves. Naafiri goes in the mid lane, and she’s an accessible assassin that lacks the class’ usual skill floor.

Naafiri used to be an Ascended. He was a warrior demigod serving Shurima’s empire. The emperor’s hubris and folly led to a civil war, in which the rebels used the corrosive, extra-dimensional power of the Void. Shurima then sent out their Ascended, who wiped out the opposition. When the empire exploded, a faction of Ascended went rogue. These “Darkin” were warlords who loved brutality and blood magic, and it took the work of ancient heroes to seal them all away.

The modern age of League of LegendsThe Darkin are emerging. The Darkin were sealed up in weapons for many years and now those weapons are being used by mortals. We’ve seen Darkin like Rhaast, Aatrox, and Varus show up in League of LegendsSo far. Naafiri on the other had found his strength through a box.

More Than Passive

Naafiri can create a companion after a set amount of time. The Packmate will then attack the enemies for her, dealing physical damage. Its power increases after Naafiri uses an Ability. Hitting champions with abilities or killing enemies reduces this ability’s cooldown.

Q – Darkin dagger

Naafiri launches blades that are tainted by Darkin. They deal damage, and for a short time they will bleed. The ability can be repeated. Deal the remaining bleeding damage, plus bonus damage and missed health damage to enemies who are already bleeding. Naafiri will restore some health if the target is a champion.

Packmates prioritize champions, attacking them briefly for the first time.

W – Hounds’ Pursuit

Naafiri will dash at an opponent after a small delay. This causes her to deal physical damage, and slow her or the first Champion she comes into contact with. This ability’s range increases with ultimate rank.

When Packmates dash with Naafiri they become untargetable, and deal extra damage to each Packmate.

E – Eviscerate

Naafiri charges forward and deals physical damage as she dashes through enemies. She then explodes, dealing more physical damage.

Regroup your packmates! Packmates are pulled to Naafiri’s dash location and are healed in full.

R- Call of the Pack

Naafiri gets ready to hunt. She empowers all her Packmates, and for a brief duration she spawns bonus Packmates. Naafiri gains an out-of-combat move speed boost, vision and a shield the first time that she strikes an enemy champion. On the first defeat of an enemy champion, all Ultimate effects are refreshed.

Riot created new tech to make Naafiri feel more like a collective. Her Packmate Wolves spawn and follow the anchor, which is Riot’s champion. Naafiri may be a frightening, ancient warlord, but you will still love her. Can you imagine?You can pet a dog.
