League of Legends’ newest champion Nilah revealed in whip-cracking trailer

Nilah is Nilah’s next League of Legends champion. Riot Games showed the trailer of their new character Friday morning.

Nilah is seen wielding a water whip from her hip. She uses this to disarm enemies and weave through them with lots of dashes. The clip also shows her gaining some type of unspecified immunity that allows her to avoid Twisted Fate’s yellow card stun. Nilah is hard to avoid with all of her dashes.

Her trailer also shows a set of demon hands swirling from the waters and giving her a high five, so while she’s obviously on some good terms with these demons, it’s unknown how they tie into her storyline.

Her kit will be explained in more detail, and she’ll likely add to the Public Beta Environment. As long as all goes well on PBE, her full release will be in two weeks.

League of Legends just added a new champion, Bel’veth, who joined the game on June 9, about three weeks after she was revealed.
