League of Legends’ new champion Renata Glasc ability kit and Ultimate

League of LegendsRenata Glasc, a new darkly ominous champion is being added to the ranks. The Enchanter support Chem Baroness comes from Zaun’s family of alchemists. Riot teased Renata first last week and gave her her own website.

Renata’s kit is typical of Enchanters, but fits well into her slightly darker theme. The Passive, Leverage of her Passive allows allies to detonate additional damage. Renata’s Q, Handshake roots enemies and throws them in the right direction. Renata’s E is a shielding ability, and her Q, Handshake, roots enemies before throwing them in a specific direction. However, her W (Bailout) is her most basic ability.

Bailout grants Renata’s allies (or herself) a temporary attack speed and movement speed buff that resets if they get a kill. If the ally would die while the shield is on them, they’re granted full health, but start to burn to death over three seconds. If they get a kill during the burn, it will immediately stop, and they’ll continue to live with the amount of health they have left.

Finally, Renata’s R, Hostile Takeover, causes her enemies to go Berserk, giving them an attack speed buff, but also forcing them to immediately basic attack anything around them, starting with allied champions, then neutral units, then Renata’s allies, then Renata herself.

Renata Glasc will arrive in League of LegendsWith patch 12.4, expected to be released in two weeks. Renata will be available on the Public Beta Environment. Players can then test Renata as Riot tweaks her balance and kit.

Passive — Leverage

Renata Glasc’s basic attacks mark her enemies and deal bonus damage. Damage from Renata’s allies consumes the mark, dealing additional damage.

Q — Handshake

Renata Glassc fires a missile out of her robotic arm, which lands on the first enemy. The ability to send the enemy towards a specific target can be reactivated, damaging the enemies and shocking them.

W — Bailout

Renata Glasc gives an allies champion and herself ramping Attack Speed, Move Speed towards enemies. When an ally defeats an enemy champion, their buff duration will reset. Bailout stops working if an ally is killed while it is active. Their health will be restored to normal, but the body begins to die within three seconds. An ally can put an end to the flames by completing a champion fight before they go down.

E — Loyalty Program

Renata Glassc launches chemtech rockets which shield allies, deal damage to enemies and slow them down. Also, the rockets have an effect around Renata Glasc when they are cast or explode at maximum range.

R — Hostile Takeover

Renata Glasc releases a cloud full of chemicals to cause enemies to run BerserkTheir Attack Speed will be increased and they can attack any object in their path. Berserk enemies prioritize attacking their own allies, then neutral units, then Renata Glasc’s team, then Renata Glasc herself.
