Late Cretaceous Pack for Jurassic World Evolution 2 Releases September 15

Following up from our previous DLC Jurassic World Evolution 2 Dominion Biosyn Expansion, we’re adding four more awe-inspiring prehistoric species to help you expand your ever-evolving dinosaur parks. This time we’ve delved deep into the fascinating Late Cretaceous era to bring you spectacular new additions across land, sea, and air. It was 65 million years old and gave rise to many amazing life forms. This pack was created because the Cretaceous period featured so many species on land and water. It’s such a rich span of time to draw from, giving us amazing additions to Jurassic World Evolution IIIt is also a wonderful companion for our dogs Early Cretaceous pack. So let’s explore the four new prehistoric animals featured in the soon to be released Late Cretaceous Pack.

Barbaridactylus was the first, an aerial hunter sporting a distinctive headcrest. The artists and designers of our team have made this species come back to life. Barbaridactylus was a flourishing species at the close of the Late Cretaceous era. The Barbary Coast in North Africa is the place where its discovery took place. The Barbaridactylus is our first Nyctosaurid being added to the game and it’s really exciting to add a flying reptile with such a distinctive head crest. If you’ve not built an aviary in your park yet, I really recommend you get started so you can give a home to Barbaridactylus.

Next, Alamosaurus. It is truly a titan and the largest North American dinosaur. It can even claim that it is one of the most massive dinosaurs. Just to give an indication of the sheer size, its shinbone can outsize an adult human. But that’s not all. Alamosaurus’ armor is also impressive, with large spines running along its tail, shoulders and back. With the Alamosaurus, I really like the shape and size of the neck – there’s a real heft to it as it moves around your parks.

Australovenator is a small carnivore that’s medium in size. Australovenator, a speed demon that galloping through Late Cretaceous Australia at a cheetah pace, is Australovenator. This species is able to grasp food with its flexible arms, which are unlike those of cheetahs. I love the Australovenator’s unique animation when he grabs food. This hunter is a skilled one, thanks to its light frame and high mobility. It excels at hunting prey and running them down. The Australovenator’s patterning and color choices are my favorite. There are some very vibrant and contrasting colours.

Another prehistoric animal we think you’ll love introducing into your park is Styxosaurus. Styxosaurus is an intimidating predator that can be found in the ocean. This powerful species has large, sleek fins and moves with deadly speed. Other than sounding very cool because it’s named after the River of Death, this is a great addition as it’s a marine reptile with bioluminescence to some of the pattern colors. At night, it’ll glow as it’s swimming around the lagoon.

We will be offering a free update 4 with many new features. The update contains enhancements such as the ability for tranquillized dinosaurs to be woken up using the new stimulant dart. This can either be done directly or via task assignment. And watch the skies, because flying reptiles can now attack capture team helicopters! The base-game update includes many beautiful decorations for the lagoon. You can customize them with banners, fountains or customizable lights. There is even an Indominus reptile skeleton that can be placed in the lagoon.
