Killer Klowns From Outer Space Gets A Zany Game Adaptation

Killer Klowns From Outer Space, the science fiction comedy horror from the late 80s, made a surprise crash landing during today’s Gamescom showcase. The cult film’s game adaptation is coming soon, believe it or not.

The trailer starts with a comical cinematic sequence – a teenage boy listens to loud music and plays the air guitar in his bedroom while the once-peaceful neighborhood beyond his window gets vaporized. Killer Klowns, armed with explosive blasters, appear behind a pile of boxesed pizza pies when he spots the explosions. 

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is “a crazy new take on multiplayer horror” from the executive director of Friday The 13th: The Game. A few gameplay videos were presented, showing Killer Klowns shooting lasers at civilians fleeing from a carnival playground. Chaos ensues as a group of teenagers plan to launch a retaliatory attack on a tower nearby.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4. Xbox One is coming soon.
