Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Anniversary Update Out Next Month Alongside Steam Debut

Ember Lab’s action-adventure breakout hit Kena Bridge of Spirits will turn one next month. The team is planning a huge Anniversary Update to commemorate it. 

The update will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions, as well as PC and PC. It will also be available for free to all users. It will be released on Steam the day after it was available only to Epic Games Store users. The Anniversary Update will be available for both the PC and PlayStation versions of Kena: Bridge of Spirits. It will contain New Game+ and new Charmstones. Spirit Guide Trials and Kena Outfits will also be added.

“As our debut game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits meant so much to us,” Ember Lab’s Josh Grier writes in a press release. We’re excited to offer fans new ways of experiencing Kena. New Game+ will be a feature we are most excited about. It allows players to restart Kena’s journey, with all their previous unlocked abilities, upgrade, outfits and Rot. Take on new and harder combat challenges. It’s exciting to see existing and new players tackle the new content. 

Ember Labs has provided a detailed breakdown of all the content included in the Anniversary Update.: 

• Neue Game+, which will allow players who’ve completed the game to restart Kena’s journey with all of their previously unlocked abilities, upgrades, outfits, Rot, etc and take on redesigned and more challenging combat encounters.
• Charmstones that are Individually equipable – these unique collectibles each provide different adjustments to Kena’s stats and abilities.
• The new game mode is the Spirit Guide Trials, challenging players’ skills with a variety of replayable challenges across three different categories; Obstacle Courses, Wave Defenses, and Boss Reflects. 
• Complete the Spirit Guide TrialsEach outfit is inspired by a character Kena meets on her journey. Each trial has bonus objectives that can lead to color variations and unique Charmstones. 
• The following are some examples Unique new clothingExclusively for owners of the Deluxe Edition
