Justified sequel pits Timothy Olyphant’s Marshal against a killer

Raylan Givens returns to deliver justice as only he knows how. But this time, instead of coming back to his hometown in Kentucky, Givens, once again played by Timothy Olyphant, is working in Detroit and he’s got a daughter to look after. It is justifiable to Primeval the CityIt is planned to release as a Miniseries on FX, Hulu and July 18, 2018.

Justified is the sequel of the original series and takes place several years after events in the final episode. Raylan, after returning to Miami moves suddenly to Detroit to continue his career as a U.S. Marshal. Raylan’s daughter is now a young adult and under threat from the series’ new antagonist Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), who seems to take a special interest in her — or a special interest in getting under Raylan’s skin, at least.

It is justifiable to Primeval the City also stars Aunjanue Ellis, Marin Ireland, and Timothy Olyphant’s real-life daughter Vivian Olyphant as Raylan’s daughter Willa. The series is once again based on an Elmore Leonard novel, though not one of Leonard’s Raylan Givens stories, but rather High Noon City Primeval in Detroit — a novel that didn’t actually feature Givens at all. Graham Yost was the original showrunner of the series. The City of PrimevalThe series was created by Dave Andron, Michael Dinner and others who worked on the original.
