John Woo finally made a Christmas movie with Silent Night

It’s, in my humble opinion, fairly tousled that John Woo has not made a Hollywood motion movie in 20 lengthy years. However the drought is now over. After spending the final 20 years working in Hong Kong cinema as soon as extra, Woo has returned to those shores with the forthcoming Silent Night time — a Christmas John Woo film, no much less. What a beautiful vacation present to us.

Very similar to the superb No One Will Save You, Silent Night time can be a dialogue-free thriller, with For All Mankind and The Suicide Squad’s Joel Kinnaman starring as a father who loses his son — and his voice — in a violent taking pictures, and dedicates his life to coaching for his revenge.

Silent Night time’s first trailer has loads of enjoyable with Kinnaman’s wordless fury, selecting as an alternative to talk with the sounds of motion cinema: screeching tires, the bark of gunfire, and plenty of Kinnaman reloading.

We missed you, John Woo.

Silent Night time premieres in theaters on Dec. 1.
