Itch.io Bundle for Ukraine gives you 800 games for $10 charity donation

Nearly 1,000 games from 700 different game designers have been bundled together for just $10 to benefit two charitable organizations that help civilians living in the besieged Ukraine.

DRM-free itch.io Bundle Ukraine is available through Friday, March 3. It also includes some high-quality, full-size independent titles in its extensive catalog. Voices of Children (UK) and International Medical Corps (US) are two of the beneficiaries. Voices of Children in Ukraine is an organization which helps children deal with war trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder. International Medical Corps offers medical aid to the area. Necrosoft notes that their fundraising overhead is 1% of the charity’s income, and only 10% of that revenue goes to administration.

Within eight hours, the Bundle to Ukraine has already surpassed 75% of its goal of $1,000,000, and more than 53,000 donors have contributed an average $15 per hour. So far, $1,694.20 has been the highest individual contribution.

Necrosoft’s Brandon Sheffield last week announced he was organizing the bundle. “We stand with Ukrainians, and with all people around the world who despise war,” Necrosoft wrote on the bundle’s page. The bundle includes all the products that can be downloaded directly from the page at itch.io.
