Iron Galaxy’s Brawling Battle Royale Rumbleverse Has Been Delayed
Iron Galaxy’s upcoming wrestling-flavored battle royale Rumbleverse has been delayed. A beta period was held a week earlier. The initial season was due to debut on February 15th.
The release date for the next update has yet to be announced. Iron Galaxy’s blog post states that the game needs a bit more work, saying, “there’s more we want to do to perfect the experience.” Those who purchased the Early Access Pack will receive refunds. Iron Galaxy plans to host a tech testing on February 12, which players will be able to participate in.
Rumbleverse was launched during The Game Awards 2021. It is an all-brawling version of the battle royale. The players control customizable fighters who can throw fists or swing steel chairs and do wrestling moves like suplexes or elbow drops, instead of using firearms. For added verticality, these grapplers are also capable of scaling buildings. Rumbleverse will launch for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and Epic Store Exclusive on PC.
