Tandem: A Tale of ShadowsThis puzzle platformer is innovative and combines two gameplay styles with different points of views. It also has a dark atmosphere. Through the disappearance of Thomas Kane (a famed magician), the game explores 19th century America. Emma is our protagonist and decides to pursue the investigation on her own. While heading into Kane’s castle, she stumbles across Fenton, Thomas’ precious Teddy Bear.

Both decide to search for Thomas regardless of the price.

Although the tale is intriguing, it’s up to you to solve the mystery. You will need access to every level and floor of the castle. Spiders, clowns and even ghosts will greet you. You will need to find a new way to defeat these foes and learn what happened to Thomas Kane.

You are two characters who play together using shadows. Thanks to Emma’s lantern, she can cast a shadow that will be useful for Fenton to walk on. Tandem: A Tale of Shadows uses two different cameras. Two cameras are used. One is top-down and one is 2D (horizontal). When you play as Emma, the top-down camera will be used. The horizontal camera will be used for Fenton. Your adventure will involve activating levers and pushing obstacles. It all depends on the floor that you’re on. It is important to obtain a Diamond at the End of Each Level. 

Enter the different rooms of the Kane’s Manor and get to know about each area’s unique quirks : a garden full of spiders that you must sneak away from, a boiler room with a giant octopus,  a kitchen full of cute little blob, and much more! There will be many puzzles to solve as you switch between Emma and Fenton. Each area will have its own unique twist.
