Our April edition hosted today at the [email protected] Showcase on Twitch – revealing new games coming to Xbox, sharing updates from independent developers and a special interview with the Vampire Survivors team.

Cassette Beasts – Bytten Studio / Raw Fury 

As you make your way back from New Wirral, embark on an exciting monster-collecting adventure in open-world. In this trailer Kayleigh, one of the companions you’ll meet and team up with, explains how to transform into monster form and how to capture and record new monster forms! You can find it here. Nearer the Distance (Osmotic Studios and Skybound Games). 

The Sim is an emotionally moving slice-of life simulation that explores how friends and families can survive tragedy. After a tragic car accident, Angela is a young girl in Yesterby who becomes the watchdog of her friends and family during the grief process. Using her ethereal ability to influence the townspeople she once knew, Angela’s choices will ultimately determine the fate of Yesterby. 

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly (Toge Productions / Chorus Worldwide Games) 

In the present-day fantastical Seattle, where quirky orcs and business-oriented succubi coexist, you can open up your coffee shop again. There are many other ways to get involved. Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & ButterflyBaristas are able to make warm drinks and offer support for customers. Encounter familiar faces and a few new ones too as you improve their moods with your wonderful concoctions and delightful latte art… all to the sound of chilled lo-fi beats. 

The Explorator (Remnant Games Studio). 

The ExploratorThe game was inspired by FPS and cell shading. You play as an explorer to explore the Ospolis island, which is the most dangerous in all of known history. 

Legends claim that Atlantis, the mythical city of Atlantis is located beneath the island. They have been overrun by monsters and goblins who have entered the underground tunnels dug by unscrupulous explorers in search of this city. 

Homestead Arcana (Serenity Forge Skybound Games, Homestead Arcana) 

Homestead ArcanaYour role as a farmer witch will allow you to explore the mysterious Miasma-infected range. In order to discover the secret behind its appearance, you will grow plants to power up your spells, craft new gear, and use nature’s magic to ultimately heal the land. Your Huckleberry will assist you on this journey, as well as Yuri Lowenthal who will present this gameplay walkthrough. Homestead Arcana.

Kabaret (Persona Theoretic Games)

The Last Case for Benedict Fox (Plot Twist/Rogue Games) 

Today’s gameplay of the highly anticipated Benedict Fox’s Last CaseThis video features developer commentary. It demonstrates Benedict and his Demon Companion fighting their way through various factions to reach the depths of the Otherworldly Limbo. Combat is only one way to progress in this Burton-esque meroidvania. You can see how this game is a hit on Xbox! 

Lil’ Guardsman (Hilltop Studios) 

In this deduction adventure, you play as Lil – an unlikely 12-year-old hero – covering your dad’s shift at the guard shed and are tasked with deciding the fate of over 100 unique characters. It’s part of your job to send visitors to jail or inadvertently torment them. Or let them go about their business. But be careful: who you let through the castle gates will determine the kingdom’s fate.  

Omega Strikers (Odyssey Interactive) 

Get involved in the Footbrawl Omega StrikersXbox officially launches April 27th 2023. In this 3v3 fast-paced free-to-play, lightning-fast game, you can smash your enemies and score goals. Assemble a group of friends and pick from one of a variety Strikers. You will be able to throw slimes or toss sofu and get a rocket boost to victory. 

Vampire survivors: Tides of Foscari / Poncle 

Vampire survivors: Tides of FoscariThis is the second DLC. Vampire SurvivorsIt will take players on a journey through the wooded hills of Western Europe. During today’s showcase, viewers got a sneak peek at it before it’s launch on April 13. People are heavily influenced by folklore and fairytales. These tales warn against stepping too close the dangerous woods where all kinds of magic beasts, spellcasters or demi-humans, as well as spirits, demons and angels. Vampire survivors: Tides of FoscariWith it, eight characters are added, thirteen new weapons and one stage. There are also seven tracks of music, twenty new accomplishments, and 13 more.
