Iconic Halo weapons come to Destiny 2 in Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Pack
Bungie has kept some Halo iconic weapons from the public for months, despite their silence. Destiny 2’s Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. The footage in the new trailer is displayed in this trailer. Halo: The Evolution of Combat Magnum and Halo 2’s Energy Sword and Battle Rifle. A brief glimpse of the Ghost-inspired Sparrow is also shown.
Additional images from Bungie’s website show off other familiar items. Although it was thought that the Trace Rifle-looking weapon in an earlier photo was an ornament for Prometheus lenses, the weapon appears to be its very own, likely inspired by the Focus Rifle. Halo Reach. There’s also a Gjallarhorn ornament based on the Halo rocket launcher and a Ghost shell with a Halo ring orbiting it.

These items are clearly pulled from Halo, but they aren’t named one-to-one. The Halo items are also included in the free update and will not require players to purchase the pack, according to a breakdown on Bungie’s website. Halo Magnum, an Exotic sidearm known as Forerunner is the Halo Magnum. BxR55 Battler is the Legendary pulse rifle known as Battle Rifle. The Energy Sword is the Half-Truths Legendary sword, and there appears to be a purple and traditional blue version — perhaps a mode swap. And the Focus Rifle is the Retraced Path Legendary trace rifle — the first non-Exotic Trace in Destiny 2.
When Bungie first announced Destiny 2’s Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, the studio highlighted some of the great crossover weapons from its storied history. The Marathon shotgun, the Claymore blade from Myth. Halo, however, was missing. Now it appears that Bungie wanted to surprise players with the update — a final push of excitement before the pack’s launch.
Finaly, the trailer showcases a variety of events and activities coming to the event. There are brief glimpses of the dungeon as well as the free-to–play activity and, most mysteriously, Crota, the raid boss.
