Humankind Explores Consoles This November

The Summer Game Fest was a strategic event that resulted in a brand new trailer featuring Sega’s Humankind and Amplitude Studios. Not only does it have a new update for the PC version and some recent DLC, but a console version of the 4X game is also coming on November 4. The footage above shows a short clip of the console version in action, but I’m sure we’ll see more of how Humankind is transitioning to controllers in the months ahead.

The “Cultures Of Latin America” PC DLC is now available. It adds narrative events and new cultures based in Latin America. Add a Latin heritage for your Humankind civilizations costs $8.99 This handy list contains all the features you need to add this content.

  • 6 New Cultures: Caralans, Nazca, Taíno, Inca, Argentinians, and Cubans
  • 6 New Wonders: Pyramid of the Sun – Teotihuacan, Maracana Stadium, Salar de Uyuni, Salto Angel, Lençóis Maranhenses, and the Atacama Desert.
  • 9 Independent Peoples
  • 15 Narrative Events

However, that’s just the beginning. Amplitude is releasing a “major update” for the PC version of Humankind today, which also implements a reworked surrender system, rebalances war support modifiers, gives infrastructure yield previews, and adds unique wonder effects. The update contains even more, so you can check it out if you are a Humankind enthusiast.
