How to watch the Warcraft mobile game reveal

Blizzard Entertainment is launching a new mobile game in Warcraft on Tuesday May 3rd. The game will be announced as part of a livestream on Blizzard’s website, but will not stream on the company’s other channels, like YouTube or Twitch.

To watch, you’ll have to head to reveal.blizzard.com at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT.

Activision Blizzard’s parent company has indicated that the Warcraft mobile title will be available sometime between 2022 and 2023. It will be Blizzard’s second mobile launch this year, following the release of Diablo Immortal — which is also coming to PC — in June.

The only Mobile Presence for Warcraft (a more than 25-year-old franchise) has been in In. Hearthstone. The free-to-play app was available for iOS users in April 2014 and Android users at the close of 2014. But Hearthstone This card-collection-game is completely different to the action-RPG gaming experience. World of Warcraft or the actual-time strategy for the three Warcraft titles.

But Diablo and Warcraft aren’t the only Blizzard franchises that could come to mobile. Back in 2018, Blizzard co-founder and senior VP Allen Adham said, “We have many of our best developers now working on new mobile titles across all of our IPs. They also work with other partners, such as Diablo: The Immortal. Many of them are being developed internally only, and we’ll have information to share on those in the future.

“We have more new products in development today at Blizzard than we’ve ever had in our history, and our future is very bright.”

It’s already been a busy year of announcements from Blizzard. In January, the company announced a “brand-new survival game for PC and console,” which was followed by the reveal of a beta test for Overwatch 2A new expansion will be completed in March. World of Warcraft, DragonflightIn April.
