How to use the Zonai wing to fly through Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
What is the best way to do? You can also find out more about us on our website. Fly In Tears of the Kingdom: The Legend of Zelda?
It’s incredibly easy to fall and glide in this game using the paraglider, with lookout towers launching Link into the clouds. But actual flight takes a bit of work, and the game never quite explains the “best” technique for using Zonai wing. We’ve tried a variety of different takeoff methods, and we thought it would help to share them.
It pays to be good at flying. There is a simple solution for almost every problem. The Legend of ZeldaTears of a Kingdom’s opening hours is to build a bridge. This is a long, very long bridge. But the further you go in Hyrule, the bigger your problems – quite literally. In the near future, an enormous geographical problem will be able to span distances that no bridge can cover.
For the biggest gaps, you’ll need the Zonai wing. These are the methods we use to lift off.

Learn the basics of Zonai wings: How to Fly
Learn the basics of flight before becoming a master. Early on in your adventure, you will learn the basics. Great Sky IslandLink is likely to come across the bird-shaped glider, also known as The The Zonai Wing. This device is accompanied by a runway which slopes down and over a cliff to send the Zonai wing in the air with nothing but gravity. It is best to use this runway with the Zonai wings. Temple of Time — and a great opportunity to take your first flight.

Zonai capsules for sale
You will see a kilometer marker before you depart the Great Sky Island. Zonai capsule dispenserThe Nearby Gutanbac Shrine. Use your Zonai Charges! Seriously, don’t be stingy, because you’ll collect plenty more charges throughout the game.
If you want to get as many capsules, I suggest buying in bulk. To do this, put five Zonai chargers into the machine. You can repeat this process several times, if you happen to have spare charges. The capsule dispenser is designed to work with Zonai fans and wings, both of which are essential for your travels in the air and on land.

The Zonai Wing can be flown with rockets and fans
Once you return to the surface of Hyrule, you won’t find many (if any) Zonai wing launch ramps. So taking off is more difficult. Using additional Zonai tool to transform the Zonai glider into a mini airplane is probably the easiest way to take flight.
It is best to choose either rockets or fans and a tall, steep cliff. Placing the Zonai components in a flat, safe area near the cliff’s edge is a good idea. Place the fan or rocket on the Zonai’s tail if you are using only one. When using more than one, place them at opposite ends of the Zonai wings.
You can use Zonai rockets or fans to propel the mini-plane off the edge. It may take several fans or rockets for enough thrust to propel you off the edge. This is why…

Fly Zonai wings with Ultrahand Recall and Ultrahand
It may seem a bit more complicated, but this strategy allows you to save precious Zonai Resources and has, from my experience, had the highest success rate.
Drop the Zonai wings on a flat, level surface at the edge of a cliff. Grab the Zonai with your Ultrahand after you have a little distance. Hold the Zonai wing off the cliff and raise it high. Now, slowly walk backward, lowering the Zonai wing gradually back to the surface – think of it like performing the plane’s takeoff in reverse.
Recall it once the Zonai is down. The Zonai will fly off the cliff if you do it correctly.
You can get more distance by using a longer wheelbase. Use this method in conjunction with the fan/rockets technique. Turn on the thrusters when needed to get you there.

Skydiving is a great way to fly the Zonai wings
It is also not easy or reliable. You’ll need either be shot into the sky or leap from a sky island, and then there’s the trouble of actually pulling off the aerial stunt. This method is the most impressive.
Skydive first from an extremely high altitude. When you’ve reached an opportune altitude from which to soar to your target, pop open your paraglider. Choose a Zonai Wing capsule and place it below you. If done correctly, the Zonai wing will materialize beneath Link’s feet, allowing you to convert the energy of the free fall into forward momentum.
Please let me make it clear: this is not something I’ve done. I failed. The maneuver is still possible. One day I shall be good.
Hyrule’s skies are safe for you to soar!
