Party Animals for Xbox 360 and PC
You can choose from a variety of different controls. Animals Party, so grabbing and throwing will change depending on what you’re using:
- Keep your mouse and keyboard pressed. Grab with the left-click something (and keep holding it if it’s not a weapon) and Right click and throw.
- Keep your finger on the keyboard.Grab me!Use and something J. throw.
- Control: Press and hold Grab RTPress the button to learn more. B. throw.
The tutorial explains that you can charge the throw of your fuzzy friend by holding down your button. Once you press the button, your fuzzy friend will start throwing whatever they have in their hand. (Note that this isn’t for throwing weapons, like the lollipop. You can drop these by pressing F twice, or by pressing RT.
I personally found it easier to throw using a controller (a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on Steam), but it’s entirely possible that it’s all in my head. It doesn’t hurt to try other options if you have them, though!
The controls can be remapped in the settings so you are able to set them up however you like.
Party Animals: How to throw the other players
If you want to be able to huck players over railings and off the map, then you’ve come to the right place. You’ve probably been tossed super far at least once and wondered, “How come my throws don’t go that far?” Well, here’s a few tips for successful player-tossing:
- Make sure you’re really only trying to throw players while they’re knocked out. You can lose your grip and stamina if conscious players wiggle. You can also find out more about us on our website. out.
- To throw the ball, both hands must be placed on your opponent. You cannot throw them if you’re only grabbing them with one hand. (Similarly to how you can’t use certain weapons if you’re not holding them right.)
- Charge up as much as possible to get a nice long throw off the edge — but don’t get too greedy as your opponent may wake up at any second.
- Always be aware of your surroundings. There isn’t much point in picking up and attempting to throw an opponent when you knock them out in the middle of the map with no cliffs in sight. Then, throw them quickly into the abyss after knocking them down near the edge.
- You can use momentum in your favor. You can gather more momentum by spinning or running to get a good start.
