How to play Netflix’s mobile games

It’s just not something that a majority of Netflix users are doing, according to new data from analytics company Apptopia and published in CNBC. Netflix is home to 221,000,000 subscribers. That means, despite only being used by 1%, the games still receive an average of 1.7million daily users. They have also been downloaded 23.3 million time. Here’s a quick guide to get all the value from your Netflix subscription, including those video games.

If you’re someone who only watches Netflix on your TV, you might not even know that Netflix It has games. Even on the phone app, it’s not exactly in a prominent spot, which is a shame, because games like Before Your Eyes, PoinpyThese and many other options are well worth a shot.

Both for Android devices as well as Apple iOS, the Netflix app must be downloaded first.

  1. Navigate to Netflix’s Games Section in your Netflix app.
  2. Scroll through games and find one you’d like to play.
  3. To open the Netflix Games page, click on the tile.
  4. Click the “Get Game” button and your respective app store will open — either the Apple app store or Google Play.
  5. You’ll use this app store like normal to download said game, so click on the download button.

It will be available in the Netflix Games section. The games will also be added to your home screen (unless you’ve opted out of that feature on your device).

Both iOS and Android offer you the ability to canBrowse the apps and then search for Netflix Games in each store. If you’re not already signed into Netflix, you’ll be prompted to sign in before playing.

Netflix is adding more titles to its library. It currently has 26 titles as part of the subscription service. It has stated that it will have 50 new games available by 2022. These include original titles and games based on properties such as the forthcoming The Queen’s GambitA chess simulator.
