Marvel’s Midnight Suns isn’t all about intense tactical battles. Off the field, friendships with heroes are just as important — beyond narrative, establishing those bonds provides significant combat perks. As the friendship levels between the Hunter and the heroes in your roster improve, you’ll unlock passive and combo abilities. Friendship Level Benefits

Increase your friendliness with other heroes Marvel’s Midnight Suns has many benefits that’ll help you when you’re out on mission. They include:

How to build bonds with Marvel’s Midnight Suns heroes

It is possible to build friendships with your fellow heroes by having conversations with them and inviting them for a drink, complimenting their work, or helping them with other tasks.

Hang Outs

After completing a mission, you’ll be able to invite a hero to participate in an activity with you. Each hero will have their preferred activity so you need to pick carefully. One person may be interested in fishing, while another might prefer playing cards inside. You’ll gain or lose friendship depending on how interested they are in the activity.

You can leave a hangout at the end. Give the gift of love to your heroThe gift shop sells them, but you can also find it around the Abbey. Be sure to choose the right gift for each recipient, as every hero has his own preferences.

Dialog options

It is the best way to build friendships. You’ll be given three dialogue options to choose from, each of which will result in a different type of reaction. To strengthen or weaken your bond, you can either draw on what Marvel fans already know or use the information from the comic.

Everywhere there are opportunities to have a dialogue Marvel’s Midnight Suns. You’ll talk to the heroes around the Abbey, during hang outs, at club meetings, and even on Superlink, the superhero social networking service. You’ll frequently receive invitations to meet up from the heroes themselves. It could happen at club meetings where heroes of similar interests can meet after long days on missions, or one-on-1 conversations with specific heroes. Sometimes heroes will ask for your help with tasks or advice. This can be a great way to boost your friendship.

Freebies

After completing a Research Project, a Hero Op, or reaching a new Training Level in the Yard, you’ll be able to compliment a fellow hero. While complimenting your hero can be a good way to increase friendship, it is not a wise practice to give too many praises in one go.

Sparing at the Yard

The Yard allows you to upgrade your cards, and even train against heroes. It’s a great way to make friends and spar with your favourite heroes every day. Training in the Yard is a great way to strengthen a relationship with an individual hero.

Havens

It is very similar to inviting a hero, or a particular point of interest, to a Haven. However, there are some differences. Havens can only be used one time and each hero may only meet once at each Haven. This is the biggest difference. A Haven hang out can reward friendships Doubling. To maximize your friendship gains, use what you know about the heroes to invite them to a location with an activity and a gift they’d love.
