How to get the A Shot Blocked achievement/trophy in MW3

One Shot Blocked is an achievement/trophy you can get during the “Flashpoint” mission in Modern Warfare 3,. To earn it, you’ll need to shoot a gun out of the air before an enemy catches it.

How to unlock the A Shot Blocked Trophy in MW3

The A Shot Blocked trophy requires you to shoot a gun out of the air during “Flashpoint,” in which you need to fight your way through a crowded stadium while avoiding hurting civilians.

After you have completed the first part of the mission and are on the upper floor, there is a hidden door. Verdanks Center written above it. You can block A shot in this room.

Inside the room you will discover a group disguised as paramedics. You must first wait until the dialogue between Price, the paramedics and you is over. While they are talking, position yourself. Near PriceShoot at the handles that are on top of the door in the corner of the space.

You need to be ready with your weapon and wait until the perfect moment. As Price says “Stand back!”, one of the disguised paramedics on the right side in the back of the room will start moving toward the bench in front of you. They’ll throw a gun to another paramedic on the left side.

When Price asks “Where is Makarov?”, prepare yourself to shoot the machine gun while it’s in the middle of the air.

Getting the trophy might sound straightforward, but you’ll probably need to try more than once before hitting the bullets.

If you happen to miss your gun, pause and start the game again from the previous checkpoint. Don’t kill the entire room of enemies before leaving. You will reach a checkpoint and have to start the mission again to get the A Shot Blocked Trophy.
