Sound Off is the last badge in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

You can get a lot of benefits from badges. Whether you’re playing solo or with others, your party can only have one equipped at any given time. You can get useful skills from some badges (a higher jump or the chance to temporarily float, for example). Others are helpful (you can survive falling in a pit). Some, such as the Sound Off badge are completely useless.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder: How to unlock the Sound Off badge

The 24 badges that are in the Super Mario Bros. WonderThe Sound Off badge can be the most difficult to obtain. You must:

Once you’ve finished Final-Final Test Badge Marathon, you’ll get access to one final house stage called Wonder?. This annoying flower that talks will earn you the Sound Off badge.

Equipping the Sound Off Badge replaces all in-game audio effects with acappella recordings. But by that point, you’ll essentially have finished everything you possibly can in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, so at least you won’t have much opportunity to suffer through it.
