How to evolve Poltchageist into Sinistcha in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

These are spin-offs of existing Pokémon Sinistea and Polteageist, though they are completely separate Pokémon, and not regional forms.

Poltchageists (Polteageists) and Sinistchas (Poltchageists) are both similar, except that they develop… flipped. Sinistea develops to a Polteageist while Poltchageist becomes Sinistcha. Did you get it? OK.

These Japanese tea-versions of the beloved Pokémon are grass- and ghost-type, and if you want to add them to your collection, you’ll need the DLC (or have a friend who will trade you).

Where to find Poltchageist in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

You can get Poltchageist only if you are naturally born with it. Teal Mask DLC — otherwise, you’ll need somebody to trade you one.

Poltchageist form differences explained

Like Sinistea you have two different forms of Poltchageist but they’re both virtually identical. There’s a commonly found “Counterfeit Form” Rarer and more rare “Masterpiece / Authentic Form”.

Both are similar in combat. The only difference being that the antique form has a special seal on the bottom of the Pokémon. In addition, you will need to use different items depending on the form of Poltchageist.

Sinistcha: How to transform Poltchageist

To transform Poltchageist in Sinistcha you need only to utilize an item depending on what version of Poltchageist is installed.

To evolve Counterfeit Form Poltchageist, you’ll need the Unremarkable TeacupYou can find it in Kitakami’s northwest, south of the 3rd sign in the tale.

The Unremarkable Teacup can be found in the following locations:

To evolve Masterpiece / Authentic Form Poltchageist, you’ll need the Masterpiece TeacupYou can find it in Kitakami’s northeastern part in a small cave, behind a Snorlax.
