How to destroy chrome structures in Fortnite

One of them is Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 quests for Week 3 says “Destroy Chrome Structures.” Not only does the game not really explain how to do this, some of the chrome structures you break don’t count towards the quest progression.

Destroying things that start off chrome doesn’t complete the quest, with the exception of ammo boxes, chests, and other loot boxes. The quest requires you to Chrome Splash is a Chrome Splash tool that turns new structures into chrome, before you wreck them.

Chrome Splashes can be used to decorate buildings that have many items inside. We dropped into Tilted Towers and were able to complete the quest fairly quickly, though some random decoration items (like chairs) don’t count towards the 100 chrome structures.

Chrome Splash is often found in chests. However, it’s easier to get the Chrome Splash out if you simply break up existing chrome structures. Breaking these chrome structures can randomly make Chrome Splash appear. Chrome Splash can be used to chrome-ify other structures. Breaking those structures will reward you with more splash.
