How to deal 100 damage with one bullet in Fortnite

A Week 6 quest for Chapter 3 Season 2 Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode requires you to “deal 100 damage or more to an opponent with one bullet.” To do this, you’ll need some specific guns, as the majority of weapons are completely incapable of doing that much damage. The Fortnite Weekly Quest Guide teaches you how to easily deal with 100 damage using one bullet.

It is the easiest and most efficient way to complete this task.Special shotguns or sniper rifles. These are all possible:

• Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
• Heavy Sniper Gun
• Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle
• Storm Scout (Exotic purchase from The Foundation, Sanctuary)
• Ranger Shotgun
• Striker Pump Shotgun

For most of these, you’ll need to land a headshot to actually do 100 damage. But the higher the rarity, the more damage the gun does — so if you use a Legendary Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, it will deal over 100 damage with one bullet, even if it’s a body shot.

A Ranger Shotgun or Heavy Sniper Rifle are recommended. They both do over 100 damage and can be used on their own without the use of a high-rarity or headshot. However, if you can’t find one, you can upgrade a Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle to Legendary status at a workbench.
