April Fool’s Day is an annual excuse for companies to play pranks, often in the form a fake announcement or product. This year, Sega took it a step further than most, releasing a real, playable game based on the idea that Sonic, their beloved mascot, had been murdered. While we were at Sega learning about Sonic Superstars, we had the opportunity to sit down with social media manager Katie Chrzanowski to hear the story of how this visual novel murder mystery came to be.
