Horses Are Coming to Rust Console Edition in Latest Free Update

The free upgrade will be available to all users Rust Console EditionThe monthly wipe will begin on August 31. Y’all wanted this so bad, we couldn’t help but listen. So, brush off them hats and lace up those boots, because we’re gonna take you through each shiny new feature comin’ to town!

Riding Horses

Rust Console Edition will soon be transformed by this game-changing feature. Horses are part of Rust Console Edition since its release, and now they can be equipped with Horseshoes and Saddles for a faster and more durable ride. Rideable horses allow you to travel much more quickly across the world map, making long distance journeys faster and easier.
There are 10 breeds of horses. There are horses that are fast and others who are more sturdy. And they’re not just tools — you’ll need to take good care of them! If you want them to last the night, make sure they have a place to rest in your base or nearby. Also feed them. In return, they’ll be loyal companions, sticking by your side in the toughest of challenges.

New Monument Safe Zones

Also rollin’ into town with this update are two new safe zone monuments. You heard right. These new safe zones are the Large Barn and the Ranch, and you must be wondering, “what can I do there?” Well, partner, you can get all sorts of horse gear like Saddles, Horse Armor (of course we made horse armor), and Horseshoes. What’s more? You can even get your hands on one of the six horses hangin’ around the place. You just need to buy a Saddle and then walk over to the stable. Once there, pick your favorite stallion, slap that saddle on it, and… it’s yours!
Remember that both the Large Barn as well as the Ranch is a peaceful zone for horses and survivors, and weapons are not allowed. Turrets are there to stop you if you act out.

NPC Missions

NPC missions will also be available in Horsepocalypse. Now, don’t you worry, especially if you’re just starting out your survival adventures. They are guides that will help you to learn more about the different features of the game. For example, gathering resources, fishing, and hunting. The real thrill is that you can get rewards for completing some missions that will help to speed up your game progress.
So, next time you step onto that island, don’t forget to give some of these missions a try. Trust me, it’s a mighty good time!
