Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition Hits PS5 Next Week, PC Next Year

PlayStation announced Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition. This is a package of games that contains both the original Horizon Forbidden West and Burning Shores, its DLC from earlier in the year. This Complete Edition will hit PlayStation 5 next week on October 6. In early 2024, the PC version is scheduled to be released.

Horizon Forbidden West is the 2022 follow-up to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn, and it was one of our favorite games of last year – read about why in Game InformerHere’s a review. The full Forbidden west package is now available on PS5 – if you didn’t get it the first time around, PlayStation and Guerrilla Games will make it easy for you to play it next week. 

The base Forbidden west game allows players to control Aloy once more, on an adventure that will see her save the crumbling biosphere of the Earth from violent storms, and the mysterious and unstoppable plague ravaging the last vestiges of humanity. In a PlayStation Blog article, it is stated that: “Her mission as well as the sinister secret she uncovers will put Aloy up against even more deadly enemies and lead her into the Forbidden Western and Burning Shores beyond.”

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will be released on PS5 next Friday, October 6. Nixxes Software is developing the PC version, which will be available via Steam or Epic Games Store by early 2024.
