Homeworld 3 launches Q4 2022, watch the new gameplay trailer

Homeworld 3Gearbox Publishing revealed Thursday that it will launch for Windows PCs in the fourth Quarter of 2022. Gearbox Interactive and Blackbird Interactive both released additional information. Homeworld 3’s first gameplay trailer and revealed new details on how the game will work, signaling the return of classic 3D space battles plus a few new wrinkles.

Original HomeworldRelic Entertainment developed the game and it was released in 1999. Relic Entertainment released the real-time strategy video game in 1999. It was valued for its space battles that allowed players to move and fight in three dimensions. In 2003, the franchise grew with Homeworld 2Later, with Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak. Modiphius Entertainment is currently developing it into a tabletop game for role-playing games.

The secret to success Homeworld 3Blackbird’s team includes many of those who were involved in the creation of the classic 1999. Rob Cunningham who served as the artistic director on both of them, is Blackbird’s CEO. HomeworldAnd Homeworld 2.

Homeworld 3 will continue the space warfare that won the franchise so many Game of the Year awards. Megaliths are massive spacecraft that have been abandoned and will be used to create battlefields. This will give players unique options for tactical choices such as ambushes or hit-and run attacks. The developers also stated that the game would include fully-simulated ballistics. This means that cover and line of sight will both be crucial factors.
