Hollow Knight: Silksong Delayed – Game Informer

Hollow Knight Silksong has been delayed by Team Cherry.

Silksong, according to the last information we had, was scheduled for release in the second half of 2023. However, Team Cherry decided last night not to offer a window.

Matthew Griffin, Team Cherry’s marketing and publishing representative wrote on Twitter that the development of the game is continuing. We’re very excited about the way the game has developed. It’s quite large, so we’d like to spend as much time as possible making it the best we can. “Expect more details as the date of release approaches.”

Silksong’s release date has not been revealed, but it is clear that the game will no longer be in the first quarter of 2023, as was originally planned.

Team Cherry released its first title, Hollow Knight in 2018, and the game was well-received. The studio worked on several paid-for DLCs based around Hornet, while the free ones were available. This DLC expanded so much in 2019 the studio announced that it was now a complete sequel, called Hollow Knight Silksong. Seit then, Hollow Knight fans have been wondering when they will be able to enjoy Silksong.
