Hogwarts Legacy: ‘Solved by the Bell’ side quest walkthrough

If you find yourself in Henrietta’s Hideaway in Hogwarts Legacy, A Musical Map may be found that points to a treasure hidden in the Highlands. As you’re reading the map, you’ll soon realize that you have to read sheet music to get the treasure. If you’re not the most musically inclined individual, you may have trouble playing the correct tune. Follow our step-by-step walkthrough for the side quest “Solved by the Bell” to easily find the musical map and solve the bell puzzle by playing a familiar melody.

The Musical Map of Hogwarts Legacy

1. Find your way to Henrietta’s Hideaway in the southern section of the Manor Cape. Be prepared to kill the foes that will greet you at the door.
2. Continue down the path inside Henrietta’s Hideaway, and set the brazier in front of the statue on the left on fire by either using the spell Confringo Oder Incendio.
3. Use AccioOr Wingardium LeviosaWhen facing the double wooden door, place the cube onto the right platform.
4. Cast IncendioPlace the cube to the right. GlaciusClick on the cube at the right.
5. Go down the steps and take on the enemies in the room.
6. Continue forward and climb the turn staircase to witness an enemy being swept off the ground.
7. Cast Arresto Momentum to the floor You can stop it from taking you away.
8. Go on to the next area and eliminate all dark wizards.
9. Face the statue at the entrance, then turn left and walk towards the wall of fractured stones. This will reveal a hidden room.
10. Take the Music Map on the table beside the wall to start the quest “Solved using the Bell.”
11. Return to the start to exit Henrietta’s Hideaway.

1. Travel to Clagmar Castle, located on Clagmar Coast.
2. You must defeat the enemy inside the castle.
3. You can return to the bells located in the southwest corner of the castle.

Playing the ‘Harry Potter’ tune on the bells

1. You can use the following basic cast to hit all the bells as shown in this image. You’ll play a tune that is familiar to fans of the series, and a chest will spawn to your left.
2. Open the chest and collect your rewards to complete the side quest “Solved by the Bell.”
