Hogwarts Legacy Secrets: Viaduct Bridge, Clocktower, Key of Admittance

There’s dozens of Hogwarts LegacyThree secrets are difficult to find, but they’re important enough that you should include them in your field guide. One of them is found in Viaduct Bridge One is outside the castle. Doors for Clocktowers, and the final is tucked away at the top of the castle, in the headmaster’s office and the trophy room as part of the The Key to Admittance puzzle.

This challenge can be completed by anyone at any time in the game. All you need is a couple of early spells, the Alohomora charm and a few other tricks. You can conjure recipes to the Room of Requirement, and you will also receive rare equipment.

Hogwarts Secrets explained

Hogwarts’ Secrets occupy a section in your field guide under the “Challenges” section. You can find three of these secrets, which earn you field guide progression, unique outfits and random loot in the Room Of Requirement.

To find the secrets in your field guide, pen the “Challenges” section, choose the “Exploration” tab, and scroll to the bottom.

You will be able to explore Hogwarts through a variety of puzzles. But you’ll need to work hard with your school classes in order for you the secrets to become a reality. Even if you’re not keen on the actual rewards, you’ll need to clear all three secrets for field guide and achievement progress.

Hogwarts Legacy Viaduct Bridge Puzzle and Solution

The Viaduct Bridge puzzle is likely the first one you’ll encounter, and it only requires Incendio or another fire spell to complete. If you’re trying to knock out challenges and haven’t found the puzzle yet, you can reach the Viaduct Bridge from the the Central Hall. Follow the steps to the top and enter via the large double doors. You will also find a Daedalian Key near the exit.

The The puzzle solution can be found on the manhole cover located at the bridge’s end. This shows four Roman numerals as well as four symbols. You will need to light the braziers, and turn a knob at the base of the manhole cover so that the Roman numeral corresponds with the symbol and numeral on it.

Change the time and use Lumos. Even with the braziers lit, it’s nearly impossible to see the numeral on the knob.

If you’re standing at the manhole cover looking away from the Viaduct Entrance, the Viaduct Bridge puzzle order is:

Far left – I
Near right – II
Far right: III
Near left – IV

Turn the last knob to open the manhole cover and climb down to lower viaduct. Unidentified neck item can be found in the large chest near the end. You can take this to the refinement tables Professor Weasley asked you to conjure up in the Room of Requirement for a new piece of gear.

Puzzle and solution for Hogwarts Legacy Clocktower Doors

You can solve the Clocktower puzzle to get past the doors with the metal grates. You need the Glacius spell or Arresto Momentum, both of which you get from completing Madam Kogawa’s assignments and popping balloons on a broom. You also need Alohomora at level one, so make sure to finish Gladwin Moon’s story quest if you haven’t already.

Look up from the clocktower. You’ll see four symbols along a metal bar. Every symbol represents a particular door., starting with the unicorn door at the ground floor and ending with… well we’re not entirely sure what it is, but some fans think it’s a scarab.

Wait until the pendulum stops over the symbol corresponding to the door you want to open – First, the unicorn – and then cast Glacius or Arresto Momentum. This spell will remain active for about a minute so that you can race to the unicorn doors. You can open the chest by going inside.

You will find an additional Daedalian Key by going up the steps to the wooden balcony.

You can stop the clock at any time A second symbol is the one which looks like an owlRun left until you reach the end of your balcony. Enter the door and use your charm of disillusionment to open the eyes chest.

The third step is to go up the next set of stairs. Once you get to the landing, use your magic to stop the pendulum from swinging over. double dragon symbol.

Go to your right, then go down the stairs that lead you to the dragon door.

One final thing.. Use a fire charm to unfreeze the pendulum or allow it to move again. The last symbol of the staircase, run up it is the one to freeze.

The final clock door can be found in front of the visitor if you pass through the narrow landing.

Puzzle and Solution to the Hogwarts Legacy Key of Admittance

The final secret challenge takes you to the headmaster’s quarters in the castle’s tallest tower and requires Alohomora level three. You’ll need to collect more than a dozen Demiguise Moons for the caretaker to upgrade your unlocking charm. They’re not the easiest items to track down, so check out our Demiguise Moon locations guide for a helping hand.

There are two routes to Alohomora once you’ve upgraded it. You naturally visit the Trophy Room and headmaster’s office during The Polyjuice Potion main story, but if you want to tick this challenge off early, that’s possible too.

Hop on your broom or mount, and fly up to the tallest tower where the headmaster’s office is. It’s beyond the Grand Staircase and at the opposite end of the castle from the Quidditch pitch. There is a small walkway that runs around the exterior of the tower. You can still land there, but it may pose some difficulties. It was difficult to land near the door, and I experienced a glitch which kept my broom from falling down.

Instead of crashing, you can quickly turn around and climb up to reach the top.

Unlock the door, head inside, and grab the Key of Admittance from the headmaster’s desk. If you do this before The Polyjuice Plot, you’ll need to fast travel out of the office. Leaving via the eagle statue staircase causes a glitch where you’re stuck in midair.

The Trophy Room can be reached by Floo Flame and the Grand Staircase’s corridor.

A large circular door is located on the opposite side to the Floo Flame. Interact with it, and you’ll enter a short hallway with a spiral staircase at the center.

Unlock all the doors you see, and swipe the treasure – mostly Unidentified equipment – and head up the stairs.

You will find the Room of Admittance at the top of stairs. Inside is the last chest. Make sure you cast Revelio while you are there to obtain a new Field Guide webpage.

Hogwarts Secrets Reward

Each secret unlocks three outfits that you can alter to change your look without affecting your stats. Make sure to claim the outfits from the secrets bar of the “Challenges” menu, or they won’t show up in your outfit selection.

To wear them, open the “Gear” menu. For the two robes, hover over the “Cloaks and Robes” icon, and choose the “Change Appearance” option. It may be necessary to change your appearance, depending on the items that you’re wearing.

Do the same for the bathing costume, but under the “Outfits” icon instead.
