Hogwarts Legacy: “Cache in the Castle” side quest walkthrough

As you walk around the Astronomy Wing Hogwarts Legacy, you might run into Arthur Plummly, who gives you the quest “Cache at the Castle.” Arthur has two treasure maps, one for himself and one for you. Your map has three landmarks that’ll point you in the direction of treasure, but these landmarks can be tough to find. Find out more information about these landmarks, and how to locate hidden treasure.

First Hogwarts Legacy ‘Cache in the Castle’ landmark — Rhinocerous Skeleton

1. Arthur Plummly will give you the quest at the Charms Classroom entrance.
2. Take the staircase behind you down to three floors.
3. Continue forward, and then go down the steps to the left. You should now be able to see the Rhinocerous Skeleton from this point.
4. You will receive a waypoint when you reach the skeleton.

Second Hogwarts Legacy ‘Cache in the Castle’ landmark — Dragon Fountain

Teleport to the Transfiguration Courtyard if you possess the flooflame. This will allow you to find the Dragon Fountain easily. For those who don’t have the floo flame waypoint, follow the steps below.

1. You will reach a large double entrance by going down one of the staircases.
2. Enter through the door to locate the Transfiguration Courtyard, which has the Dragon Fountain at your left.

1. Continue past the Dragon Fountain and into the double doors that are behind it.
2. Continue to your right. Head up two flights of stairs until you reach the painting.
3. Cast AccioClick on the handle near the top to uncover the treasure.
4. Collect your rewards to complete the quest “Cache at the Castle.”
