Highwater is a isometric survival game set in a flooded climate crisis

Rogue Games publisher and Demagog developer are challenging players to enter a darkened, flood-stricken world. Highwater, the “narrative-driven isometric survival game” announced Thursday during Summer Game Fest.

Throughout the game’s flooded environment — which includes puzzles and turn-based combat — players try to survive long enough to hopefully sneak onboard the elite’s rocket. You can see some of it in the trailer. This includes navigating by boat along with visiting many post-apocalyptic places.

HighwaterExpected to be available in 2022. Demagog anticipates showing more of the game over the next months according to a press release. This includes information about the boat exploration and turn based combat. That’s when platform details will be announced, too.
