Here’s Your First Look At Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

Today during Summer Games Fest, we got our first extended look at gameplay for Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

Gaiden is set between Yakuza 6 The Song of Life & Yakuza Like a Dragon. This fills the gap of what Kiryu Kazuma, series main protagonist was up to following his faked death and reappearance in the first. 

Kiryu is now known as “Codename Joryu” and has apparently been managing jobs for an unknown person. You might think that this means he beats the hell out of guys on the street. This trailer features a number of big-scale battles as well Kiryu’s new abilities.

It is worth mentioning that GematsuYesterday, Gaiden’s gameplay was leaked on the PlayStation Store. Here are some of the key details:

Switch between Yakuza-style combat and Agent-style fighting in visceral close range combat.

“With the Yakuza style, strike fear into enemies by unleashing wildly aggressive moves powered by Kiryu’s unparalleled strength and flair.

The Agent Style lets you deliver blows at lightning speed, using high-tech gadgets such as electrified wires that stun and then launch your enemies.
