Here’s What You Get For Completing All 152 Of The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom’s Shrines

Tears of the Kingdom has 152 shrines, so finding them and solving all of them is quite a challenge. Breath of the Wild only had 120 Shrines (you can find out what you get for finding them all here) but the rewards are still quite bizarre and ask some questions about the Zelda mythology. You should note that there are SpoilersBelow is a link to a game unlock.

The final Shrine, after skipping two cutscenes at the end of each Shrine in the past 165 hours or so, shows some special text that suggests the player to visit the Temple of Time.

Temple of Time on the Island where you first started the Tears of the Kingdom Journey. King Raura and queen Sonia’s statues do not refer to the Temple of Time Ruins on the Plateau. You don’t want to search for the Temple of Time ruins on the plateau for too long. I have no idea who made that mistake. Behind the Goddess Statue, you will discover a brand new chest.

The Ancient Hero’s Aspect is in the chest. It is not a three-piece armor like those in Breath of the wild or Tears of the Kingdom. Instead, it’s a single piece. Link is also transformed completely. This mask is similar to the Majora Masks that change Link into Zoras, Gorons, and Dekus. The description of the item reads: “This object is said to hold the spirit of an hero that once saved Hyrule.” That hero’s aura will envelop the wearer.” The Hero of Time may have been reincarnated in this form.

Certain characters may change their dialogue if they see you wearing armor. Hyrule citizens are not impressed by Link’s armor, but those who know about world history (like Impa or Purah) will be.
