Here’s The First Look At Dune: Spice Wars’ Gameplay

Dune: Spice Wars offers exciting prospects for fans of real-time strategy and those who love the books, as well as lovers of recent Oscar nominated films. The game takes the series back to its RTS roots, though we hadn’t seen much of it beyond cinematic teases. However, a new trailer provides the first look at its tactical gameplay.

This trailer shows how you can command units in Arrakis. You’ll lead your chosen faction using several methods, whether it be flexing political influence, having deep economic pockets, or just pure open warfare. While you are traveling the world, you will meet/capture villages and gather resources. You’ll also set up spice farmers to make money while defending your territory from the enemy. Shiro Games, a developer of the game, previously confirmed multiplayer. 

Early access to Dune: Spice Wars will be available on PC sometime in the next year. The FAQ provides more information about the game.
