Here’s How To Play Fortnite’s Chapter 3 Finale ‘Fracture’ Event

Epic Games announced recently that Fornite’s Chapter 3 will be ending in December. Now, less than two weeks until the end of Chapter 3, the studio is releasing new information about the Fracture finale. The team also has some extra goodies that players can earn during Chapter 3. 

Epic lets you choose to team up up to 3 players, or to go it alone, and decides the fate of the island. It’s not yet clear exactly what Epic will do December 3. However, we know the best way to participate. 

Participating in the Fortnite Fracture Event

Epic Games announces that Fracture will be an in-game, once-in-a-lifetime event. It begins Saturday, December 3rd at 1:15 p.m. PST/4:30 p.m. ET. A new Fracture playlist will be available 30 minutes before the event starts. You can access it at any time between 1:40 and 4:40 pm. ET – after that, the playlist will be closed. 

Up to four people can participate in the Fracture party. If you don’t want to join a group of friends, but still wish to team up with others during the event, you may emote together with them to make a squad. You should also note that replays won’t be available for the event. Take all necessary precautions to ensure that your gameplay is saved. 

Epic Games announced also the Toasty Roast Emote. It is an ode of Chapter 3. 

To commemorate the start of the end, all Fortnite players who log in between December 2 and 6, 6:00 a.m. PST/9:00 a.m. ET: December 4, 11:45 pm PT/2.45 am PT ET will be receiving the Toasty Roast Emote until December 4, at 11:45 p.m. PT/2:45 a.m.

Chapter 3’s not quite over yet – Avian Ambush Week is now live and runs through November 29. Epic claims that loot-holding chickens can multiply, taking over wildlife. For XP, you can do chicken-themed quests. Bonus goals will also give you tokens of leveling up. 

“After Avian Ambush Week, Bargain Bin Week will begin,” a blog post reads. “From 9 a.m. From 9 a.m. ET November 29 through 3 p.m. ET December 3, characters goods and services will be heavily discounted. You’ll get more money for your bars. Complete special quests to earn XP and bonus points for Level Up Tokens, just like Avian Ambush Week. 

As you approach Chapter 3’s conclusion, make sure that you have wrapped up any remaining loose ends, including the Season 4 battle pass and open quests.
