The studio released PC specifications for Alan Wake 2 with less than one week left. It looks like you will need an extremely powerful system in order to play the game.

You can see that even the lowest PC requirements require a powerful GPU, such as the GeForce RXT2060. This and other specs will only give you 1080p/30FPS. If you want to experience 4K/60 FPS, then the GPU that’s best for the job is the GeForce RXT 2060. Ray-tracing will also require the strongest GPU. Alan Wake 2, no matter what your PC’s specs are, requires an SSD.

Both the PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X (Xbox One) will feature a 4K at 30FPS mode and a performance mode which pushes it to 60FPS. Xbox Series S will be unable to play the performance mode.

Alan Wake 2, a new game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PC, will be released on October 27, 2018.
