Heidi Klum’s worm costume is the only Halloween outfit you need to see

Heidi Klum is a Halloween geek. The German-American model and celebrity is known for throwing an annual star-studded Halloween party where she’ll wear of costume or her own. In previous years, she’s donned absurd of costumes like Fiona from Shrek or a flesh-eating alien. But this time she’s truly outdone herself. On Monday, she dressed up as a worm and I genuinely think it’s her best work yet.

This costume can be described as slightly to very disturbing. The actual costume appears fleshy and plump. And it’s molded perfectly to her face. This looks just like something you would find in a Guillermo del Toro movie or other fantastical horror films. Klum also explained why she picked the goofy costume. “I wanted to think outside of the box. It seemed fun to be a rainworm. We all know worms, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone being a rain worm before.” Klum said that it took basically the entire day to get her into costume.

Somehow, there’s a little bit of everything. It is deeply relatable. As well, I would love to crawl into a high-profile event and be covered in only goo while the world bustles about me. It’s been a hard couple of years; We’re all tired. It might be nice to change things up by being a Worm. I’d get to, ya know, slow down.

The costume also feels like it is a reference to a TikTok trend from two years back. In it, folks simply asked loved ones, “Would you still love me if I was a worm?” Then they posted videos of them posing the question and the reaction and answer.

Of course, it’s a ridiculous question, and doesn’t make a ton of sense. This is a fun question! The typical response is to be confused or puzzled about the hyper-specific question. Klum gives us an IRL picture of how it might be if someone became a worm. Verdict: Still lovable.
