Haunted Chocolatier will have some connection to Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone revealed on Twitter that his upcoming game, Haunted Chocolatier, Will at the very least have some connection Stardew Valley.

It was revealed last October but has not been released. Early gameplay footage showed an early version of a simulator for chocolate factories, where a small ghost runs a store (the part that is haunted must be there). Despite any connections, Barone says he wants the game to “have its own identity.”

Barone also tweeted that Stardew Valley would be receiving a new patch. However, it will be primarily modding-focused. Patch 1.6’s new content will only be small. Future patches are still in flux.
