The final battle begins in episode 9. In Episode 9, John and the rest of the crew are still reeling from Makee’s loss. Good news, “Transcendence” is filled with satisfying action and feels just like Halo: a Halo videogame. Unfortunately, the series’ questionable storytelling choices are continuing to impede our enjoyment.

It’s evident that the entire first season could have been improved. This episode concludes in the same spirit.
