Halo Series Episode 7 Review – Worst Episode Yet?

Two weeks of amazing episodes later, it’s time to say goodbye. Halo The seventh episode of Paramount Plus’ episodic adventure series “Inheritance” takes a big step back. Get involved with us Game Informer ShowAs we fall apart and Enjoy spoils the highs and lows of Kwan and Soren’s journey and quickly touch on our thoughts on last week’s episode, as well.

Alex Stadnik and Brian Shea are back, as well as Andrew Reiner and Cortana. The story of “Inheritance,” which features no of these characters, nor the thrilling Reach storyline that saw the discovery of the Halo ring, is not featured. Instead we return to Madrigal with the continued adventures of Spartan the reformer and rebellious companion.

Kwan stumbles into the desert mystics after she tries to get out of her car. She discovers that her family has a legacy. Kwan is out making her discoveries. Soren, on the other hand, is back at home, talking about the past and trying to figure how he made it off this planet. Our heroes finally reunite to face Vinsher and fight for the control of this planet.

Halo’s slow pace is a problem. Most of the plot and action feel like filler, rather than meaningful moments. This series isn’t able to justify including these characters. And even though the plot finally reconnected with the search for Halo ring it felt like they could have done everything in 50 minutes. With only two episodes remaining in season 2, it will be fascinating to see how this series recovers. Let’s hope we won’t be forced to return to Halo Tatooine in the future.
