Halo Infinite’s Quick Resume can lock you out of cosmetics, warns 343

Halo Infinite The launch was mostly successful, with the exception of complaints regarding the multiplayer battle pass. Developer 343 Industries posted a social media message about a known issue that could prevent multiplayer players from obtaining cosmetics for the single-player campaign.

Brian Jarrard from 343 took to Twitter Wednesday to address the problem with players. “Avail a free copy of the e-book “When playing” [Halo Infinite’s] campaign you will come across armor lockers that contain cosmetics for your MP Spartan,” he wrote. “If you are offline or disconnected from services — which can occur after Quick Resume — the cosmetics won’t show up in your MP inventory.”

For players who are both interested in Master Chief’s single-player story It is quite a disappointment to be able to participate in Big Team Battle alongside the rest of the team. Jarrard shared good news, however. An retroactive solution is available that grants cosmetics to players who earned them but didn’t receive.

Jarrard provided a great step for players who have been working through the campaign. “For now, I recommend not continuing a Quick Resume session and making sure you’re online before venturing into Zeta Halo.”
