Halo Infinite: How to get Fiesta Killjoys for weekly challenge
Halo InfiniteMultiplayer has experienced some growth pains during its first season. While the gameplay has been praised by everyone, it could do with some more work. One area where the gameplay has not been up to par is the Challenges. This week’s Ultimate Challenge offers the ultimate example.
For those who are not familiar: Every week, players receive 20 ChallengesThey are all frustrating to do. Getting them done all unlocks the key to an amazing experience. Ultimate Challenge. You will receive a cosmetic as a reward for your diligence by completing this task.
This week’s Ultimate Challenge rewards a pretty nice gun skin for the combat rifle, a valuable reward given how often you’re carrying that thing around. But to unlock it, you’ll need to complete Three Fiesta Killjoys.
What exactly is Fiesta Killjoy, you ask?
To net a Fiesta Killjoy, you’ll need to kill someone in Fiesta who is currently on a Killing Spree. To be considered a Killing Spree, someone must get at least five kills per day without ever dying.
This is why it might be problematic.
Although you’ll probably be able to obtain a Fiesta Killjoy simply by playing the game, it may take you up to 20 matches just for three, making it a long time. And remember, at this point you’ve already played quite a bit to complete all the other Challenges.
There is, I’m sorry to say, a faster way.
How to quickly get Fiesta Killjoys
In one sentence: It is time to die. You should die a lot. This works especially well if you’re playing with three other people who have also agreed to die a lot. You can begin taking them out once the opposing team has gathered on your pacifist group (ideally five kills per enemy member), Each kill will net you one Fiesta Killjoy, and with four enemy squad mates, that’s the Challenge complete in one match.
Obviously if you’re playing with friends and cooperating to speed up your deaths, you’ll want to do a few more matches to make sure everyone has the Challenge done and dusted. But it shouldn’t take more than three matches to finish the weekly Ultimate Challenge.
This is probably obvious. Halo Infinite’s developers really need to reconsider whether Killjoys are a rewarding Challenge requirement. But until they do, you’ll just have to die a lot.
