Gundam Evolution, a free-to-play hero shooter, launches in 2022

GundamEvolutionGundam’s hero gunner in the spirit of OverwatchPublisher Bandai Namco has announced that ‘,’ will be available in North America, Europe, and Japan sometime in 2022. It will be free to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (Windows PC), Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Bandai Namco Online developed this website. Gundam EvolutionIt is a first person, team-based shooter, with 6v6 combat. There are three game modes that can be played: Point Capture and Domination, as well as Destruction. The classic Gundam models, such as the RX-78-2 Gundam Barbatos or the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos are available for players to pilot. They each have their own offensive/defensive skills. Other mobile suits confirmed for Gundam Evolution include the MSN-04 Sazabi, MS-06 Zaku II, and System-∀99 ∀ Gundam, with others hinted at in an announcement trailer.

Bandai Namco has a 12-unit starting roster. Additional unlockable mobile suit options will be available via real-money purchases, or earnable EVO Coins. A season pass will also be offered by the publisher. Gundam EvolutionYou can unlock cosmetics such as mobile suit skins, weapon skins or weapon charms.

Closed network testing Gundam EvolutionBandai Namco stated that it will occur on PC from April 7-12. An identical test for consoles is planned at an unknown date. The closed network test can be registered via Steam for PC users until March 28.
