Guerrilla Shares Images Of Horizon Forbidden West Running On PlayStation 4

Sometimes overshadowed and forgotten by the latest generation, there are still games being developed for and released on PlayStation 4. After showing what Horizon Forbidden West looks and runs like on PS5, Guerrilla Games has given the world a glimpse at what Aloy’s next adventure looks like on the previous Sony console. 

In a tweetGuerrilla shared four screenshots of Forbidden west running on PlayStation 4 hardware. Although it is not clear if the screenshots were taken by a PS4 Pro or an amateur, they are stunning. Take a glance at the lush jungle flora with a mechanical bird hovering overhead, a desolate desert settlement, the Tallneck in all of its towering glory, and Aloy strolling through a pond riding atop what looks to be the horse-like Strider.

The images look amazing, and you could compare them to your PS5 photos. You can also see which parts are missing or where the LODs draw distance is. Instead, let’s take a look at the PS4 images and see how great they are on their merits. If this game performs as well as it looks, then last-gen PlayStation users may feel less pressure to buy a PS5 in the days ahead of Horizon Forbidden West’s February 18 release.
