GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition: New patch fixes dozens of visual bugs
Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive EditionGrove Street Games announced Tuesday a significant update for its remastered GTA collection. Update Title 1.03 Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition seemingly fixes numerous visual bugs, including misspellings textures and store signage, indoor and underwater rain, and Cesar’s notorious “hot dog” fingers.
The infamously upscaled nut on Grand Theft Auto San Andreas’ Tuff Nuts donut shop, which was erroneously altered to not be nut-shaped, has also been fixed, Rockstar said in patch notes for the title update. San Andreas’ sky will also look more natural, thanks to newly added cloud cover. (The remastered edition of San AndreasPreviously, the whole landmass was visible in a natural and clear way.

- Stability improvement
- The cinematic camera was added to the game. You can toggle between the different camera modes by going through the menu.
- Correction of a few misspellings in texture art/signage
- Fixes a variety of situations where rain appears indoors in cutscenes
Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition
- Adjusted the Rain during the Give Me Liberty Intro Cutscene to match the gameplay.
- Increased resolution for the taxi entrance signs
- Fixed an issue that rain was visible inside the mansion in the cutting scene to the mission Cutting the Grass
- Fixed an issue where rain could be seen inside Donald Love’s apartment during the cutscene to the mission Liberator

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition
- Add banners to the Rumpo and Coach vehicles.
- Corrected an issue in which the Shakedown mission cutscene would not transition back to gameplay after it was completed.
- Rain could now be clearly seen in the Mission Publicity Tour cutscene
- This issue was fixed in the Alloy Wheels of Steel mission.
- Rain could now be seen in the Limo during the Cutscene for the Mission Two Bit Hit.
- Fixed an issue with Tommy’s hands when wearing the Havana Outfit in the mission Shakedown
- Fixed an issue in the mission Cop Land where the mission would fail when the café would blow up
- Fixes an issue in which the Diaz Mansion’s textures were missing during the Outro of the Mission Rub Out
- Checkpoint Charlie had a crash just before the mission ended.

- Several texture problems that were causing difficulty on the island wall walls have been fixed
- Correction to an issue preventing the destruction of crates during Gun Runner mission, which was causing game failure.
- Fix for an issue in which the flamethrower caused damage to items behind Tommy
- Fixed a hole in the game world when standing on Tommy’s wardrobe in the Ocean View Hotel
- Problem fixed: The texture of the Ramped Packer Vehicle textures could corrupt when Tommy stood in close proximity

- Fixed a white outline in Cesar’s hairline during the cutscene to the mission King in Exile
- Fixed an issue with CJ’s body in the cutscene to the mission The Meat Business
- Fixed an issue with CJ’s body during the opening cutscene to the mission Supply Lines
- Fixed an issue with Cesar’s fingers during the end scene of the mission Cesar Vialpando

- A save game problem was fixed at the Blood Bowl end.

PC – All Titles
- Fix for a bug that prevented players from selecting Cancel and Confirm with a controller during Mission Failed! Screen
- Corrected a bug in which players who used special characters to create their PC accounts were not able to save progress.
- When playing on a large screen, the game layout was not correct
- Fix for an issue that prevented options from being highlighted properly when you hover your mouse over them
- Fix for an issue that prevented the display of certain menu options by clicking too fast on sections within game menus
- A bug was fixed that the controller could not be used to control UI elements when the mouse cursor hovered over them.
- Fix for an issue that caused Fullscreen to display the older resolution when changing Resolution.
- Fixes an issue in which graphics settings didn’t save when the game is restarted
