GTA Online’s Criminal Enterprises update spices up old content

The economy of San Andreas has fallen apart, probably due to all of the crime that’s going on in the state. It’s hot, the gas prices are at their highest point in years, the supply chain for retail shops has been lost, and the state is getting roasted by the relentless sun. This is real life. Nope, it’s GTA Online’s summer update, which is set to release on July 26.

Criminal Enterprises’ trailer creates a crisis state, which big business and the oil industry are trying to exploit. However, San Andreas is full of criminals, and so all this does is introduce big tempting targets for rascally robbers to steal from, whether that’s through high octane car chases or good old fashioned piracy.

The update adds new content to the Executive, Biker and Nightclub Owner sections. This should give the Gunrunner and Gunrunner more tools and content, as well as a boost in some of the existing content. The IAA will be adding a set of new missions in which they suspect the manipulation of the corrupt petrochemical industry run by the Duggan greedy family. The government calls in the police to arrest a criminal.

The game will see a variety of content changes, such as menu adjustments and increased payouts. New vehicles, collectibles, showroom floors, and other car-loving items are also coming. A new Lupe, the staff manager for executive offices, will be available to help players source cargo. Motorcycle club presidents will also have access to modified choppers that can then be sold to their discerning clients.

This update is fascinating because it brings to life many of the systems that had been dormant. GTA OnlineInstead of searching for new content, take some time to do this. It’ll be cool to catch up with old NPC friends, menace Texans, and buy some new rides. Criminal Enterprises will launch on PC and consoles on July 26th.
