Grim Guardians: Demon Purge | New Gameplay Today

Koji Igarashi-led Castlevania games like Symphony of the Night or Grim Guardians: Demon Purge may appeal to Castlevania fans. Inti Creates, the developer of Azure Strike Gunvolt, has created this game. It stars two sisters that are demon-slaying and must climb a castle populated with monsters to save their high school from being destroyed.

Every sister has a different play style. Shinobu fires a gun making her suited for long-ranged attacks, while Maya cuts down targets with close-ranged melee assaults. You can play the game with two players, or you can just one player. Each sister has their own health bar and they can swap among each other. In our gameplay footage, we show you how this creates an original strategy. Marcus Stewart, Wesley LeBlanc and Wesley LeBlanc look at Grim Guardian: Demon Purge’s fiendish offerings in order to determine if this game has the potential of being a worthy Castlevania successor.
