Grand Theft Auto 5: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S Pricing Revealed, No Free Upgrade Paths
Rockstar Entertainment has announced the price for Grand Theft Auto V: The new version will arrive on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S by next week, March 15.
You can now preload the game. As a result the prices for the versions have been published on digital storesfronts. IGN. Alongside the pricing, the digital storefronts also reveal that there are no free upgrade paths for owners of existing versions of GTA V. If you want to play the new-gen version of this game, you’re going to have to pay some money but depending on where you plan to pay, you might pay more or less.

PlayStation 5
- GTA V will have 75% discount Its first three monthsAfter launch it will retail for $9.99 It will cost you $39.99 thereafter. Buying this at launch at $9.99, or sometime after three months for $39.99, will get you both the single-player campaign and GTA Online.
- GTA Online will be available on PS5 for free In its initial three months. The standalone GTA Online version, which is not inclusive of the single-play campaign, will then be available for $19.99.
Things get a lot more expensive on Xbox Series X/S.
Xbox Series S/X
- GTA V’s first three months will see a 50% discountIt will be $19.99 after launch. It will be $39.99 after three months. The single-player campaign is included in this version, as well as GTA Online.
- PlayStation 5 allows you to “Unlike” GTA Online Xbox Series X/S is not free for the first 3 months.However, it will still be available for sale at $9.99 GTA Online standalone will go on sale for $19.99 after three months.
